I hate to admit this but I always tell my story to my classes. =C2=A0When I=20=
first learned or attempted to learn to play the recorder I cried as an adult=
in Level 1 Orff. =C2=A0For the life of me I could not breath correctly into=
the dratted thing. Everyone attempted to help me but failed. =C2=A0When my=20=
kids are successful I remind them of how much better they are as beginners c=
oz I cried. =C2=A0I have great compassion for the student who has a hard tim=
e starting off. =C2=A0

When I have students who just need an extra push I tell them to come in
at recess. Sometimes one on one time away from the rest of the class
really helps. =20
