CORRECTION: "Secret Agent" uses only C,B,A,G and mostly in whole notes.
It's useful for teaching 1st and 2nd endings, and staccato (each phrase ends
with a staccato quarter note). Kids love it, and notes are NOT a problem.

Ellie,
I don't remember for sure, but I think "Secret Agent" uses low D and E, so
you may need to wait for that one.

My conclusion for my next step to using the new magazine is to look up B
Cool and Secret Agent. If it is indeed that I need only teach two phrases.

I appreciate your reading through my woe is me plight. Needed compassion.

Last week I did take photos of my students playing the recorder. My
challenge was to make my African American students more visible with the
correct kind of backdrop.

Secret Agent and B Cool. I'll start there.

Thanks,

Ellie
