Dear Ellie,

It was so heart warming to read your mail - I od thank your kind words
...and am happy i sent these selections. Unfortunately these are merely a
few, but my students have promised me that they would record on video all
concerts from now on, and that we could continue publishing them. I think it
is important to share ideas, music, etc.

As for your question -
Tamar plays on a European made instrument which i do not remember now which
it is.

Gil plays on an Israeli recorder, Ariel, made by the israeli comapny Zamir
which closed a few years back, improved by local recorder maker Yoav Ran,
the ensemble children i have to look and see, and I play in the "she who
sits in the gardens" on a beautiful Ebony recorder made by another Israeli
maker - Nir Prizant, the low pitch recorder in Handel is my Van Der Poel,
and I think in the Telemann too...the Quynade music, I have to check...

:)

Is there a link to a thread on this group archive where people tell
something about who they are and their recorder life? or is the fact I am
new can encourage an introduction thread?

Happy Passover,

Drora
